The Patriot Guard has been asked to lead a funeral
procession from Charles Smith and Sons Funeral Home in
McKinney, Texas, to his home in Allen, Texas. We will be
accompanied by The DFW Combat Vets and American Legion Post
321. The family will supply a lead vehicle and will carry
the remains of this American Hero.

Obituary:
|
SFC Rivera was born February 26, 1962, and passed from this
life February 24, 2011. He enlisted in September 1980, and
was discharged January 31, 2001. He received two Bronze Star
Medals along with numerous other accommodations. He loved to
ride his motorcycle and was an avid sports fan. He is
survived by his wife Silvia, son Alonso, daughter Karina,
brother Yosif and sister Yasmin.

We will stage at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home at
9:30a.m.,then have our briefing at 9:45a.m. Those who wish
to attend the service at 10:00a.m. may do so. We have
been invited by the family. After the service, the
motorcycles and cages will be staged and we will leave and
return the remains of this American Hero back to his home in
Allen, Texas.
